We are the technology company that will be hosting your examination. In order to complete your examination, you are required to download the EDExams Streaming app.
Please see our device specification below. If your device does not match our specifications then you will NOT be able to sit your exam.

If you are using a Windows PC you will need:
- Windows 10
- A working Webcam & Microphone
If you are using an Apple Mac you will need:
- At least MacOS 11.3 (Big Sur)
- Working Webcam & Microphone
Internet Speed
At least 3 Mbps for both upload and download
Devices that CANNOT be used:
- Phones
- iPads/Tablets
- Computers in 'S' mode.
- Chromebooks/Notebooks (these will still look like a typical laptop, not necessarily a tablet)
- Lenovo IdeaPads/ThinkPads
- Surface Pros
- PCs with two monitors (one will need to be turned off during the exam)
- Public PCs (e.g. computers within a library/internet café)
Factors that may prevent you from completing your exam:
- Security settings within your WIFI (this may include work servers).
- Anti-virus software (some firewalls may block the app, due to how much control it needs over your PC)
- PCs used for work purposes/PC is provided by work, college, schools.
- Mobile Hotspots
- Remote Desktops
- Admin Restrictions
- If your PC is used for work purposes
- If you have loaned your PC from a school/college/workplace
